Jody Collins

Float and fly are merely
different verbs for
surrender.
Like a lingering Monarch
on milkweed or a leaf
layered on liquid fountain
glass, the steady breath
of a sure, invisible hand
stills then moves, like holy
with wings, a soaring
yes to God.
