We live amid a cultural storm.
Fortunately, there is a movement afoot, a rising generation of storytellers passionate about beauty and compelled by truth. They come from everywhere: poets, essayists, photographers, makers, and artists. These are the hopeful voices for the next generation. They are observant, authentic, and vulnerable.
Ekstasis is a shelter from the storm, a place for these voices to rediscover depth and wonder and awe. It is diverse in expression but unified in conviction: we are not the center of the universe. We ask questions but we are not the answer. We seek beauty but we are not its source. There are greater things at work across the universe than ourselves – and somehow behind it all is our Creator and within it all is our Redeemer.
We cherish this community of writers and photographers. We love the readers who meet us in this storm-tossed shelter. So let us warm our hands together and think anew on ancient things.
